1. Site Tour and Workshop - Coach transit option – $50.00
Use this registration type if attending both the the workshop and site tour, and youi intend taking the coach to and from Mackay Rydges.

You must be a current financial CQMRG member to register.
2. Site Tour and Workshop - Self Drive option – $50.00
Use this registration type if attending the site tour and workshop and intend meeting the coach at the SWC carpart (self drive option).

You must be a current financial CQMRG member to register.
3. Workshop only registration – $50.00
Please use this registration type only if you are attending the Thursday workshop AND NOT the Site Tour.

You must be a financial CQMRG memter to attend.
4. Speaker registration
Please use this registration type ONLY if you are attending the workshop/tour and listed as a speaker on the agenda.

You do not need to be a CQMRG member for this registration type, and there is no cost.

As those who were registered are aware, the South Walker site visit held in October last year was cancelled due to inclement weather. Stanmore Resources have kindly offered to host this visit again, and so we have arranged a short workshop and site tour to be held on 22 and 23 June; starting from 2 pm 22 June at Rydges Mackay Suites. 20230620 CQMRG SWC Program FINAL.pdf

South Walker Creek is an open-cut mine located 35 kilometres west of Nebo in Queensland’s Bowen Basin. The mine has been operating since 1996 and adopts a multi-bench, open-cut mining method utilising a dragline, and truck and hydraulic excavators. Stanmore Resources acquired BHP’s 80% interest in BMC in May 2022 and 100% in early October 2022, becoming the operator of South Walker Creek.
